Roopaantar Nature and Health Organization Partners with e-Infochips to Promote Health in Urban Slums
Roopaantar Nature and Health Organization actively supports Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by focusing on health, gender equality, and community well-being, particularly for marginalized communities.
On July 18, 2024, Roopaantar, in collaboration with e-Infochips, organized a comprehensive medical campaign in the Shanti Nagar area of Indore. Dr. Radha Goyal, an experienced MBBS professional, served as the chief consultant for the program.
The campaign focused on women’s health issues like urinary infections and menstrual problems, providing a safe and respectful environment. Children’s health, including malnutrition and chronic diseases, was also addressed, along with elderly men’s health concerns such as deficiencies and dermatological problems.
The program was meticulously planned at a designated location in Shanti Nagar, ensuring privacy for women. A total of 151 beneficiaries, including women, children, and elderly men, attended the camp and received free medications. Dr. Goyal and her team conducted thorough medical examinations and consultations, addressing both immediate health concerns and long-term wellness.
This medical campaign highlighted the importance of accessible healthcare and continuous support to improve the health and well-being of disadvantaged communities, making a meaningful impact on the lives of the beneficiaries and contributing to sustainable development and community health.
